When Lee Pena decided to retire in Montgomery, his wife, Mison, made it clear was that he was not going to sit at home. So, having owned a restaurant which he sold in 2011, it was natural for Lee to open another Wingers Sports Grill...and make it the “Home of the Best Hot Wings In Alabama!”

With a menu that boasts several trademark dishes, Lee has created a great neighborhood spot that is known first for having the best wings in the state. The secret is the original sauces they created and how they prepare the chicken before it is fried. Their second claim to fame is the fried rice which they serve with your choice of wings. Also, be sure to try the Shrimp Fried Rice dinner: Absolutely delicious and made fresh daily!  Their third hit item is the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich, made on Amoroso’s Italian roll bread. Yes, Lee lived in Philly for 3 years and he perfected this sandwich! To add to all these options, burgers are also available! For the kids, grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken nuggets are on the menu, too!
